Inconvenient truths: the Shia Salah al-Din and 10/7
I wrote this just after ‘10-7’ to the disdain of my sunni brothers. The sunni world is a disgrace — all sunni leaders are compromised, puppets (OK, irrascible Algeria the exception, but it does nothing, like the rest).
Iran is too zealous for my liking (900+ executions last year, mostly for drugs), but I support it unconditionally as the only brave, sincere opponent to the ‘Zionist entity’. If/ when detente with the ‘collective West’ ever happens, the rough edges of overzealousness will soften. Warning: Don’t go too far, like Gorbachev!
